Star Wars Was Always For Kids.

Think about it.

Themes boys and some girls love...

a) Outer Space. / Galaxies.

b) Planes. / Space ships.

c) Swords. / Lightsabers.

d) Magic. / The Force.

e) Aliens. / Races.

f) Motorcycles. / Speeders. Etc etc.

g) Dueling. / Lightsaber fights.

h) Darth Vader. / The Badass of them all.

i) Jar Jar (seriously, do you think a adult would want to see him?) / Comic relief (for kids I suppose)

j) Lame Love story(ies). Padme+Anakin & Leia+Solo/Luke.

k) Lame dialogue. / Kids cant understand big words anyway.

l) Corny to No Acting skills. / Kids don't mind, that's why they have an imagination.

m) A lot of Action. / They eat that shit up. Over and Over again.

n) A clear Good Guy(s) [Jedi] & a clear Bad Guy(s) [Sith] / Nothing "gray" the kids would have to think about.

Come on, these movies were always for them (kids). Its us fans that think that its for us. And that everything should be perfect. Sure whenever I watch A New Hope I see a billion flaws and things I wish where different. But I can never say it was bad, Why, you ask? Simple, When I saw it as a kid I fell in love with the trilogy. No matter how many loopholes or silliness it got. I loved it. The same goes for the new trilogy. If you're going to see it as an adult, Its going to be horrible. But I bet all the kids around you, love it (in the thearter.)

PG-13 was to show in detail the damage Vader got, nothing else. Even locus said that.
